1. Starting Point: BS3

All jobs begin and end in BS3. This is the base location for our van and team.

2. Travel Time to Your Pickup Location

We use Google Maps to calculate the driving time from BS3 to your pickup address. This includes factoring in the quickest route at the estimated time of your move.

3. Loading Time Estimate

Loading time varies depending on a few key factors:

  • Size of the load – A full van usually takes about 1.5 hours to load with two workers.

  • Property access – Stairs, narrow hallways, distance to the van, or parking difficulties can increase loading time.

  • Additional help – If you’re able to assist or bring friends, things can move quicker (and save you money!).

4. Travel Time to Drop-Off Address

We again use Google Maps to calculate the drive from your pickup location to the delivery address.

5. Unloading Time Estimate

Unloading usually takes less time than loading. We’ll factor in similar access considerations (e.g., stairs, how close we can park, etc.) to give a realistic time estimate.

6. Return Time to BS3

Once everything’s delivered, we calculate the travel time for the van to return to BS3. This completes the round trip used in the pricing.

A Note on Pricing

Time is money – the faster the job gets done, the less it costs you. If you’re able to help with loading/unloading or bring some strong friends along, we can get through it quicker and more affordably.

Easy Terms & Conditions

  • The van has a 1-tonne weight limit.

  • You can only fill the van to the top if the items are light.

  • This is a Man & Van service – not a full removal company.

  • We can’t guarantee everything will fit in one go.

  • The driver decides when the van has reached a safe weight.

  • Full payment is due to the driver on completion.

  • Prices include a roundtrip (to pickup, drop-off, and back).

  • Workers are allowed short breaks during the job.

  • Once the van is full, it’s time to go – no extra squeezing in.

 

 

 

How to Pack – Quick Tips

  1. Use strong boxes and fill them properly.

  2. Pack with care – use lots of bubble wrap or padding.

  3. No movement = no breakage.

  4. Big boxes = light stuff (like clothes or bedding).

  5. Small boxes = heavy stuff (like books or tools).

  6. No fragile items in bags – always use boxes.

  7. Keep boxes under 10kg if you can – easier to lift and stack.
